Battery expansion uses parallel 51.2 V modules (HECKMAN RLFP/WLFP, ECOBSS STORE) with CAN communication to the inverter BMS port.
The GEN port enables AC Coupling: retrofit an existing On-Grid string under hybrid supervision—critical when homeowners already invested in PV and now need blackout resilience after tariff hikes. Off-Grid logic can force the string inverter offline to protect battery SOC; On-Grid mode releases it for maximum harvest.
Metering defaults to CHINT DTSU 666 CT kits. Beyond 30 m to the billing point, specify Eastron SDM Modbus V2 with RS485 or PLC carriers. N-PE bonding relay behavior matches three-phase LP3 units—open on grid, closed on island—follow local grounding codes for separated neutral installations.
