Higher per-module energy lowers connector count and BMS polling overhead, but increases single-unit weight and crane requirements during install. Parallel expansion still respects 51.2 V architecture—multiple MLFP units on combiner busbars, not series for HV.

Ideal for light commercial peak shaving where 2× MLFP (~30 kWh) covers evening peak after solar fade, or 4× approaches 60 kWh before HV economics dominate. Cross-parallel wiring and torque schedules are mandatory—under-engineered buswork shows up as cell imbalance months later.

Communicates on CAN to Deye Master inverter BMS port. Not compatible with SG01HP3 HV inverters—transition to RHFP when DC bus must exceed 200 V.

Ideal for

  • Commercial LV storage without HV switchgear approval yet
  • Projects targeting 30–240 kWh on 51.2 V parallel
  • Engineers minimizing module count vs 5 kWh RLFP farms

Technical FAQ

Why not use five RLFP 5 kWh instead?
Five modules add five BMS nodes and five fuse points—MLFP consolidates when floor loading allows heavier units.
Maximum parallel?
Catalog scaling references 240+ kWh parallel—confirm busbar ampacity and inverter charge limits with simulation.
Single-phase homes?
Use with SG03LP1 if total charge current fits; large MLFP count usually pairs with three-phase 12K/20K hybrids.
HV migration path?
When LV parallel becomes unwieldy, redesign around RHFP HV strings and SG01HP3—MLFP is not forward-compatible to HV.
